InscriptionsPersian inscription on lower inner border: "Portrait of Bhayun (Bhima), son of Rana Amara."

Dingal (language of Mewar) in devanagari script: "When Amar [Singh] strode through the city of the immortals, Jahangir returned ashamed, Bhima shed no tears, Khurram fled anxious. Man [Singh] whose head was split and whose body was enfeebled, met his fate; while those who are accustomed to flee fled, he [Bhim Singh] did not budge."
In Devanagari, in gold ink: "Portrait of Raja Bhaim [son of?] Amar Singh"
