DescriptionCombed ware ovoid jar with a flat base, narrow neck, everted rim (rim is repaired and incomplete). Body is complete and in good condition. Two handles flank the body. Surface encrusted with white deposits. Has a pot mark below neck which resembles an arrow shape.
ProvenanceFrom Egypt, Giza. 1919: excavated by the Harvard University–Boston Museum of Fine Arts Expedition; assigned to the MFA in the division of finds by the government of Egypt.
