DescriptionThis amulet is made of a green glazed faience. Pataikos holds a knife in each hand, a serpent in his mouth, standing on two crocodiles, and with a scarab on his head. There is a suspension ring at the back of the head.
ProvenanceFrom el-Kurru, Ku. 53 (tomb of Queen Tabiry). 1919: excavated by the Harvard University–Boston Museum of Fine Arts Expedition; assigned to the MFA in the division of finds by the government of Sudan.
