DescriptionThis amulet is made of a blue glazed faience figure standing on two crocodiles, with a knife in each hand, a serpent in his lips, and a scarab on his head. This may represent Pataikos. In reverse, a vertical column of hieroglyphic signs appear in sunk relief. It is housed with 24.689.
ProvenanceFrom el-Kurru, Ku. 53 (tomb of Queen Tabiry). 1919: excavated by the Harvard University–Boston Museum of Fine Arts Expedition; assigned to the MFA in the division of finds by the government of Sudan.
