DescriptionThis amulet is of a blue glazed faience standing figure with a knife in each hand and a scarab on his head, representing Pataikos. There is a transverse hole at the back of the head. It is broken and mended, and missing below the knees.
ProvenanceFrom el-Kurru, Ku 52 (tomb of Queen Nefrukekashta). 1919: excavated by the Harvard University–Boston Museum of Fine Arts Expedition; assigned to the MFA in the division of finds by the government of Sudan.
