DescriptionThis is a broad collar with counterpoise. The collar is comprised of five rows of cylinder beads (some being from 15-5-699), one well preserved terminal (15-5-740), and one reproduced terminal. A row of stylized beetle beads form the lower row. One cylinder bead is missing from top row. The counterpoise is made of real terminal (no number) and additional cylinder beads in a somewhat dubious arrangement. All beads are a bright blue to dull blue-green color.
ProvenanceSome components from Deir el-Bersha, Tomb 10, shaft B and terrace debris in front fo Tomb of Djehutyhotep. 1915: excavated by the Harvard University-Museum of Fine Arts Expedition and assigned to the MFA by the Egyptian government. Sent over in 1921. (Accession date: June 24, 1992)
