DescriptionBronze stand in form of an inverted cone supporting a tray with a column in the middle and four cups on the rim. Cups and tray fastened by bronze rivets. Chased work. Damaged.
ProvenanceFrom el-Kurru, Ku 17 (tomb of Piankhy). 1919: excavated by the Harvard University–Boston Museum of Fine Arts Expedition; assigned to the MFA in the division of finds by the government of Sudan.
