DescriptionThis girdle consists of five green faience amulets, one fancy cylinder bead, twenty-nine carnelian ball barrel and ring beads, about 585 shell disc beads, strung on six strands of linen thread. Original order not recovered. From waist of body. (See group 21.970- 21.985).
ProvenanceFrom Egypt, Naga el-Deir N 453 b. 1904: excavated by George Reisner for the Hearst Expedition of the University of California (which became the Harvard University-Museum of Fine Arts Expedition in 1905).
