DescriptionFemale offering bearer standing with feet together and balancing a basket on her head with her left hand. She wears a white sheath dress with one shoulder strap. The body is carved of one piece of wood with the arms and basket added. The feet were molded from plaster.
ProvenanceFrom Deir el-Bersha, tomb 10, shaft A (tomb of Djehutynakht). May 1915: excavated by the Harvard University–Boston Museum of Fine Arts Expedition; assigned to the MFA in the division of finds by the government of Egypt. (Accession Date: March 1, 1921)
