DescriptionWooden standing female figure on a pedestal. Her lappet wig is painted black. The body and base show traces of yellow paint. Her eyes and brows are outlined in black. She stands with her arms at her sides, hands open. The figure is set in the pedestal by a transverse pin.
ProvenanceFrom Egypt, Deir el-Bersha, Tomb 10, pit A. May 1915: Excavated by the Harvard University–Boston Museum of Fine Arts Expedition; assigned to the MFA in the division of finds by the government of Egypt.
