DescriptionFaience; head and under parts light blue-green glaze, back darker. The back is covered with a series of small holes, as if for the insertiion of quills. Nose battered.
ProvenanceFrom Egypt, Deir el-Bersha, Tomb 19, pit B. May, 1915: Excavated by the Harvard University-Museum of Fine Arts Expedition; 1920: assigned to the MFA in the division of finds by the government of Egypt.
