DescriptionDeriving from a tomb scene in which the tomb owner receives offerings for the afterlife, this fragment potrays a female offering bearer. It is executed in the very low raised relief typical of the fourthdynasty. Only the woman's head, shoulder, and a portion of an arm remain. She carries a basket on her head.
ProvenanceFrom Giza, tomb G 7510. 1925: excavated by the Harvard University–Boston Museum of Fine Arts Expedition; assigned to the MFA in the division of finds by the government of Egypt.
