DescriptionInterior head end of Djehutynakht's outer coffin (coffin 4). The painted decoration depicts vessels containing the seven sacred oils, bags of green and black eye paint, and two rows of hieroglyphic text. The lower half is filled with incised spells from the Coffin Texts.
ProvenanceFrom Egypt, Deir el-Bersha, Tomb 10, pit A. May 1915: Excavated by the Harvard University–Boston Museum of Fine Arts Expedition; assigned to the MFA in the division of finds by the government of Egypt.
