DescriptionTwo joining fragments in fine detailed raised relief depicting three regisers. The top register depicts a series of jars and jar stands containing offerings. The second and third registers depict slaughtering scenes, including a man sharpening his knife. Above the second and third registers are heiroglyphic captions of the scene. There are traces of redish brown and black pigment. There are three male figures facing left, and one facing right in the middle register. In the bottom register there are two male figures facing left and one facing right. The fragments have been affixed to a plastic block. There is a piece of tape on one edge marked 13.3101a and b.
ProvenanceFrom Egypt, Giza. 1913: excavated by the Harvard University–Boston Museum of Fine Arts Expedition; assigned to the MFA in the division of finds by the government of Egypt.
