DescriptionDrawstring bag with design of dragon and crane pair motifs in green and white silk and gilt paper strip discontinuous supplementary patterning wefts on a blue silk satin ground. There is a plain-weave ramie or hemp lining and a blue braided silk cord. This bag was possibly used for a lacquer-ware container.
