DescriptionSlender shouldered jar of Nile Silt, quite large, with modeled rim and pointed base: complete. The vessel bears color variations due to uneven firing. One side is flattened and irregular. Exterior well finished but unslipped.
ProvenanceFrom Zawyet el-Aryan, Grave Z 32/5. 1910-11: excavated by the Harvard University–Boston Museum of Fine Arts Expedition; assigned to the MFA in the division of finds by the government of Egypt.
