DescriptionThis is a fishtail knife of light beige, fine-grained flint. It is triangular with a pronouned V-shaped fork at its wide end, one tang of which is nicked. The knife is bifacially retouched.

ProvenanceFrom Mesaid (Mesa'eed), tomb 123 [M/123/14]. 1910: Excavated by the Harvard University–Museum of Fine Arts Expedition; assigned to the MFA in the division of finds by the government of Egypt. (Accession date: March 2, 1911)
