ProvenanceFrom Mesaid (Mesa'eed) tomb 185, no. 2 [M/185/2]. 1910: Excavated by the Harvard University–Museum of Fine Arts Expedition; assigned to the MFA by the government of Egypt. Diane Flores notes that object was identified as "amulet" on tomb card, probably because of size.
