DescriptionOffering table in the shape of the hieroglyph for "hetep". In the center are representations of the offerings desired by the deceased, including loaves of bread, jars of water, beef, goose, onions and leeks. The scene is bordered on all sides by a band of hieroglyphs, which record an offering formula invoking Osiris and Wepwawet.
ProvenanceFrom Abydos, tomb of Im-Aat-ab. 1901: excavated by William Matthew Flinders Petrie for the Egypt Exploration Fund, assigned to the Egypt Exploration Fund in the division of finds by the government of Egypt, received by the MFA through subscription to the Egypt Exploration Fund.
