DescriptionThis knife of flint of mottled dark brown and beige color is approximately lenticular in shape and bifacially retouched. One edge is finely serrated.
ProvenanceSaid to be from Sheikh Ali (Abadiya). 1903: purchased in Qena, Egypt from Ghirgas by Albert M. Lythgoe for the MFA as part of a group (03.1383-03.1387) for £6. Acquired with funds from the Emily Esther Sears Fund. (Accession date: January 1, 1903)
