DescriptionThis fishtail knife of dark beige-colored has a shallow V-shaped fork at one end and a rounded point at the other. The end of tang has broken off. The edges show slight retouching.
ProvenanceSaid to be from Basileia (el-Bisaliya). 1903: Purchased for the MFA at Qena, Egypt from Ghirgas by Albert M. Lythgoe for £2.
