DescriptionPale gold silk damask ground, green damask orphreys with appliqued embroidered and couched design in silk and metallic threads of lilies. Annunciation on front, two doves, Infant Jesus, Virgin Mary, angels, ox and ass with flowering lily tree on hood on back. Blue and gold corded edging with black and gold metallic trim and cream, green and burgandy fringe. Blue damask lining. Morse: silver gilt with semi-precious stones depicting Our Lady of Walsingham on green and gold metallic brocaded ground with metallic braid. Condition: Good, some abrasion of couched threads.
