DescriptionThree embroidered doilies. Linen embroidery on linen ground. A large flower embroidered in multi-colored linen threads on natural colored linen ground; embroidered Deerfield trademark of ‘D' on a flax wheel. Condition: excellent.
ProvenanceGiven to donor in 1940 by Margaret C. Whiting (1869-1946), co-founder of the Deerfield soiciety of Blue and White Needleworkers.
