DescriptionCoverlet. Warp: linen. Weft: linen. Embroidery threads: silk and gold metallic threads. Exotic flowers, dentated leaves, and scrollwork embroidered with shades of red and green silk threads and couched gold metallic threads on natural colored quilted linen ground. Central floral medallion and similar motifs in the four corners, densely embroidered field. Condition: Good, small areas of thread loss, and some couched metallic threads that need re-attaching.
