Description(Venice: Bernardino Stagnino, 1512) Quarto; 452 leaves [title removed, placed with prints]; old stiff vellum, gilt-stamped brown leather label on spine (green cloth box).

Illustrations: title-page border, portrait of S. Bernardino da Siena on title page; full-page woodcut preceding first canto of Inferno (fol. a1v); smaller blocks before each canto.

Tenth illustrated edition; first use of these illustrations, which are loosely based on set first used in March of 1491. The commentary is that of Cristoforo Landino, and the text edited by Pietro da Figino.
