DescriptionWarp: rose and white silk. Weft: green and white silk. Medallions of pairs of doves brocaded with gray, white, and beige silk threads within floral wreaths and bordered by double stripes containing small circles and hexagons woven in green and white silk lampas; rose silk satin ground. Doves repeat, in reverse, the motif from "Les Colombes" (MFA 61.1032). Similar panels supplied to VandA, London; Rijksmuseum, Amsterdam. Good condition.
