Hind C.II.12B.II or .III (Second Plate); Bartsch XIII, 98 (Anonymous Italian Masters) 32 (copy); Illustrated Bartsch (Rosselli) 2404.059, ii/ii (see Note)
DescriptionThis print is Hind C.II.12B.II or .III (Second Plate), and a copy of Bartsch 98. Although the editor of the Illustrated Bartsch Commentary volume admits that the print is an entirely different plate from 2404.059, he has chosen to refer to it as a second state of 2404.059 "for the sake of convenience." He considers it to be likely a production of Rosselli's workshop.
