DescriptionDouble leaf fan painted in the "stipple" technique. Obverse: "Erminia Finds Tancred" woman in armor, horse and Turk behind, slain man right with shield inscribed "ANDREA BOLOGHIL," slain man left. Reverse: India ink town scene with pins in sides center, music dated "1767" left, portrait of man and notation with fly right, surrounded by painted black "lace" and royal blue and white sash against yellow background with green dots. Ten carved ivory sticks with painted floral design on blades, green backing on guards; diamond paste studs in rivet.
