DescriptionSingle skin leaf. Obverse: "The Fruit Pickers" (after the painting "La Terre" by Nicholas Lancret), pastoral scene of men and women picking fruit and tending flowers primarily in grays and oranges, narrow green border. Reverse: young couple playing with whirl-a-gig, black wavy lines on blades, narrow green border. Eighteen pierced and carved mother-of-pearl sticks in conventionalized design of figures, mythological animals and flowers, diamond paste studs in rivet.
