DescriptionObverse: "Stagecoach Robbery" scene set in the 1740s, decorative gilt border with black details; chinoiserie scene at base. Reverse: outline of obverse scene in red, blue, brown. Two painted portraits and relief figure and flower on each guard. Painted red-violet silk connecting ribbon, tortoiseshell or painted ivory thumbpieces; mother-of-pearl buttons on rivet.
