DescriptionDouble white silk leaf painted and decorated with brass sequins. Design: three vignettes, "Perseus and Andromeda" (after Eisen, 1767) center, two classical structures to sides; garlands between, decorative border top and sides, narrow gilt band at top. Twelve carved and pierced ivory sticks decorated with gilt-silver; chinoserie motifs on guards. Diamond paste studs in rivet.
