DescriptionTan linen ground one half of which is worked with polychrome silk (Tussah?) yarns; the remaining half is plain and unpatterned. Horizontal rows, one above the other, with various stylized and geometric motives including birds, horses, stars and several forms of undulating vine design. Stitches: French knot, laid work, satin, stem.
