DescriptionTwo lengths of furnishing fabric stitched together and trimmed with braid; fabric patterned with the "America paying homage to France" showing the personification of America paying homage to France. This is an early version, printed before 1789 as France still wears a crown and there is a fleur de lis on the orb. Copperplate printed in red.
