DescriptionGround: cotton and linen. Lower half: scrolling bands filled with flowers enclosing flowering fruit branches and exotic birds on trees which flank a central cartouche containing a basket of flowers; upper half: garlands of fruit and flowers framing formal motifs worked in polychrome wools in chain stitch with some details in French knots. Some mends and holes, some yarns rotted out.
