DescriptionPlatform with split vamp of salmon-pink silk ciselé (cut and uncut) velvet in vegetative motif trimmed with pink silk ruching and gilt-silver lace over instep, gilt-silver galloon at edges. Open toe. Wood stilt covered like vamp with gilt-silver lace in vegetative motif and brass tacks along bottom, gilt-silver galloon at front and back, pink and white tassel suspended from toe. Leather toe. Tooled leather insole, white leather vamp lining. Condition: pile worn; trim much deteriorated and missing.
