DescriptionOpenwork over instep embroidered with polychrome silk yarns in lozenges and chevrons. Knitted green silk ground, two narrow white bands at top, white toe. Embroidered inscription "JOUAN DA" between bands at top b. Condition: toes much worn. (Cf. 43.2002a,b).
