DescriptionMuff made of green-yellow silk satin with appliquéd white satin central mezzotint portrait medallion of young woman taken from the figure representing 'Sincerity', engraved by Francesco Bartolozzi after Kauffman, first published by W. Palmer, 1781. Wreath embroidered with silver yarns and spangles and red foil leaves. White silk lining. Filled with batting and paper.
