DescriptionAt the center top is a wreath, worked in purl, spangles, and metallic yarn, bearing the date; flanked by the initials "JS" in floral lettering. Beneath this is an urn with a medallion bearing the words "Rosin Linden". Beneath this is the scene of a funerary obelisk on a mound with a weeping willow tree. Various naturalistic plants and flowers plus and overturned cornucopia, a basket of flowers and other symbols, each suspended by a bow occupy the surrounding field in loose rows. Polychrome floss silk yarns mainly in satin stitch on a white silk field. Slightly soiled. Lined with a tan linen gauze.
