DescriptionFive open horizontal rows with various independent naturalistic motives including, individual flowering plants and leaves, floral groups, vines, trees and a cornucopia. The last motif on the right of the top row is a tree stump with a medallion having the word "Freundschaft" drawn in but unembroidered. Inked in the upper right hand corner of the ground is the date "1830" (?). Polychrome floss silk yarn with some metallic yarns on a cream silk ground. Some tears along creases in ground; stains. Stitches: French knots, running, satin, split.
