DescriptionCrown cut in four pie-shaped pieces, wide turned back brim pointed at sides. Ground: crown, white silk taffeta; brim, yellowish green silk taffeta. Design: in each section of crown realistically drawn floral spray against scroll and lattice work motif; brim, four floral sprays each with scroll and lattice work motif. Worked with silks in pinks, orange, yellowish green, blue, bluish purple, and gold metal thread in satin, stem, knot, cross, and couching stitches. Lined with white silk taffeta.
