DescriptionCrown cut in two pieces; turned back brim with small darts at top forming four peaks. Ground: green velvet. Design: on each side of crown symmetrical flower arrangement; at front and back of crown small symmetrical conventional foliate motif; on brim symmetrical arrangement of floral and foliate motifs. Worked with several varieties of gold thread in knot and couching stitches. Tassel at top of knots of metal threads. Crown lined with green silk; brim lined with pink silk.
