DescriptionLight brown and white linen threads, with touches of light blue, embroidered on undyed linen. Worked in seed, stem, and lace-like filling stiches. Tree of Jesse design: curling vine with blossoms of flowers on which the ancestors sit. Banners near figures give names. Jesse hangs from a banner in center which has an inscription on it. Left side of embroidery missing, a few brown stains but otherwise strong.
