DescriptionWhite silk tabby ground with an all-over leaf pattern produced in the weft and three brocaded flowers, one each in the center and at the upper two corners, rendered in light blue, blue, brown, green, yellow, cream, and red. Galloon of white silk around edges and crossed five times over central portion. Good condition.
ProvenanceSaid to have dbeen worn by Elizabeth Elkins, married to Thomas Sanders, 1782.
