DescriptionWhite, twill-woven wool ground embroidered with brilliant polychrome crewel yarns in long-and-short, satin, and couched stitches. Yellow and brown border. Field shows shell motif, flowering vines, arabesques, leaf and flower motifs. Floral motifs on orphrey (part of body of cope), morse, hood. Morse rebuilt; outer border of orphrey torn, small tears in field. Condition good and colors bright.
