DescriptionPale cocoa felt, crushed and stitched into folds for crown. Trimmed at front with wings of crushed coffee and fuchsia velvet, at back with bow of olive-brown velvet ribbon. No brim. Lined with black taffeta stamped with maker's name and address in gold. By Mon. Heitz-Boyer. This hat is constructed with a wool felt (with angora rabbit fibers, thus the "fur" description), silk velvet (silk warp and pile; cotton weft), silk velvet ribbon trim (silk warp and pile; cotton weft), and a black silk lining.
