DescriptionSmall rectangular white satin pocketbook. Front, back and interior surfaces quilted in chain stitch to form small diamond pattern; outer border of sequins, undulating green line and straight gold line also embroidered in fine chain stitch. Inside, two pockets with flaps decorated with embroidered green swags in laid and couched stitching, and gold tassels in metal purl and chain stitch. One flap secured with enameled gilt lockplates and lock; tiny gilt key tied to plates with narrow magneta ribbon (deteriorating). Lined with light yellow-green silk taffeta (frayed and split in some areas).
