DescriptionLength of lampas with gold and silver and polychrome silk brocading. Metallic yarns are both flat and overspun. Bizarre pattern shows asymmetrical arrangement of paired serpentine units comprising scrolls, leaves, parrot-like forms and geometrical ornaments. Wide heavy corded selvedges, yellow-green; both complete. Slightly worn and discolored in small areas. Metallic yarns brilliant.
