DescriptionTriangular in shape; made of ivory-colored machine net and, near long side, a scalloped, chevron--shaped panel of dark ivory taffeta; a deep net flounce borders the two short sides. Main triangle and flounce decorated with narrow bands of guimp of three sorts, sewn to the net. Condition fair; some seams opened, some loose guimp. Worn in Peru by Mrs. Cecil Caverly, of Lowell.
