DescriptionEnglish lace of the early 18th century, probably restyled to form a child's stomacher. Main field shows symmetrical pattern of flowers and leaves. Motifs made with bobbins and connected by needlepoint hexagonal mesh. Narrow conforming border of bobbin lace with scalloped outer edge.
