DescriptionPiece of ingrain carpeting. Double-cloth weave; all wool yarns in shades or red and yellow-green. Shows part of a design composed of scrolling oak or acanthus leaves, rosettes and ivy, with a secondary striped effect in the greens. Colors reverse on back. Selvedge along one side; other side turned under. Ends raveling. A few stains and breaks.
